Art Museums

Here are a number of exciting art museum exhibits on the World Wide Web:
The Haggerty Museum of Art
Maybe not the biggest name museum on the Web, but certainly the closest (and we think the best). Visit our own Haggerty Art Museum electronically.

The Louvre Art Museum
Read about Japanese Art, see the work of Cezanne, or just wander through some of the paintings at the most famous art museum in the world. While you're there, take a stroll around Paris.

The World's Women On-Line!
This is not really a museum, because it only exists on the Web, but it's a great collection of traditional (non-electronic) artwork. This site was developed to coincide with the UN Conference on Women in Beijing, China in 1995. Don't miss this fabulous collection of photos of work in many different media.

Sistine Chapel
Pop over to Rome and check out the art of the Sistine Chapel. This page begins with a lot of header info and various links, but if you just keep scrolling down, you'll eventually reach the images.

The National Gallery of Art
Visit the Smithonian's National Gallery on the Mall in Washington, D.C.
