Interval FAQ
How do I invoke the compiler?
From Baker Kearfott
(rbk@usl.edu),
University of Louisianna at Lafayette, November 19, 1999:
Just having had the compiler installed, I'd like to share my initial
experiences with you.
- I discovered that the compiler doesn't except filenames with
the ".f95" suffix. This is a known bug that will be fixed later.
- To enable the interval extensions, one MUST use the compiler
option "-xia" when invoking the compiler, e.g.
f95 -xia interval_source_code.f90
(This latter was due to my not having read the man page carefully.)
Best regards,
Baker

adds:
I haven't run an example yet, but I have read the manual.
Recommend: Read the Fine Manual. (Hopefully, it will get better,
too.)
