Once your students attain proficiency in Scratch, they are ready to develop Android apps using a similar interface! This session will show the power of App Inventor through a brief introduction, hands-on explorations, and a summary of the resources available to you and your students. To maximize your exploration time, please install and test App Inventor by following the instructions at this site: http://appinventor.mit. edu/explore/setup-mit-app-inventor.html . To minimize complexity, your explorations will use the emulator only. At the end of the session, we will show you various ways to load the apps to a physical phone.
