University campus in Milwaukee for our Computer Science For High
School (CS4HS) workshop:

from Google, we are able to offer
this three day professional development workshop at no cost to
participating teachers.
Who should attend?
We welcome middle school and high school teachers,
both in-service and pre-service, with a strong
interest in computer science, science, technology, engineering,
mathematics or related fields.
What is included?
Accepted participants will be provided with meals,
parking and housing on Marquette campus for three days
and nights. Participants may check-in the Sunday night
prior to the workshop. Wednesday's schedule will conclude
mid-afternoon to allow for travel time.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided on Monday and
Tuesday, and breakfast and lunch will be provided on
Wednesday.
Materials and computing facilities will be provided during
the workshop, and access to online learning materials will
continue after the workshop has concluded.
A for-credit option is available through one of
the cooperating universities for an additional fee.
Workshop participants will have the opportunity to interact with wide
variety of university faculty in computer science, mathematics, and
mathematics education, as well as with expert computer science
teachers from area schools.
The workshop schedule will include both lecture/laboratory periods,
discussion panels, and designated time for developing, collaborating
on, and sharing concrete lesson plans with other workshop
participants.
