STAFF: Currently we have 9 student employees in our department. These consist of 4 desk receptionists, 3 student technicians, and 2 computer tutors.
COMPUTER SYSTEM: Most of the summer was spent rebuilding our system after a vicious attack last April. We have two java labs and one java classroom, which house our java stations. This summer we added two pc labs to our department. These labs are only used for certain computer classes, which varies by semester. We are tossing around some ideas of upgrading our java station labs in the near future, because of our limited supply of java stations. We also introduced our new website (www.mscs.mu.edu) this summer. One of our ambitious student technicians upgraded the site this summer and added some new features, such as our new virtual tour of Cudahy Hall. The website also includes fall, spring and summer timetables. These are only of few topics that we have included on our website.
